The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office on Monday requested bail for Sylla when he was arraigned but he was ordered released with no bail.
The California-born Sylla started skateboarding when he was about 7, thanks to his grandmother, who got him at CVS a SpongeBob SquarePants board.
He turned pro in 2019.
